The
Hispanic Ministry
in Vaughn Forest
started in 2001
as a Sunday
School Class.
After meeting
in Cecil, AL.,
Vaughn Forest
adopted the
group providing
them with a
classroom, materials
and all the
support they
needed.
In
April 2003,
Pastor Omar
Hernandez came
from Mexico
to begin a pastoral
approach to
the Ministry.
Turning from
a class to a
mission, having
more than one
Bible study
class, and growing
from 30 to 70
in attendance
are just a few
of the things
the Lord has
led us to accomplish.
The
Hispanic population
is growing all
across Alabama,
and it is our
responsibility
to go and tell
about the good
news
of salvation
to all of the
Hispanic community
in the capital
city.
