Military Families

Vaughn Forest would like to welcome all of its military families. Whether you are here for one Sunday, one year, or one lifetime, we want you to know we are excited you are with us.  Here at Vaughn Forest we want you to know that we want you to get plugged in to the work that God is doing in Montgomery, the surrounding areas, and the world, as soon as possible. Please come by our welcome desk in the front lobby of the Church for special info and to learn how to make Vaughn Forest your place for LIFE!

Bible Study Group for our Military Members

This group will provide a forum for our military stationed in the Montgomery area.  The class will get you involved in the community of Vaughn Forest Church quickly, and will provide fellowship, support, and spiritual development.

We know that the frequent moves that go along with the military make it challenging to continue growing spiritually.  The curriculum for the class will first focus on building relationships and then address issues that are common ground for military families in various stages of life.  At the same time, the group will give its members ready-made ways to use their talents and gifts to serve in the church and the community without having to experience the delay that normally accompanies a military PCS.

Directions from Maxwell Air Force Base:

1. Start out on 3RD ST which becomes AIR BASE BLVD. 

2. Turn LEFT onto DAY ST.    

3. DAY ST becomes I-85 N / MARTIN LUTHER KING JR EXPY.    

4. Take the TAYLOR RD / AL-271 exit- EXIT 9- toward US-231. 

5. Keep RIGHT at the fork to go on TAYLOR RD / AL-271 S.     

6. Turn LEFT onto CR-626 / VAUGHN RD                              

7. End at Vaughn Forest Baptist Church:
